Things to look forward to in the next few months.

Brothers Green

Two brothers have opened a plant and interiors shop at 4-6 Half Moon Lane, Herne Hill. Brothers Green, run by Danny and Luke, of online store Concrete Jungle sells a selection of house plants and handmade pots. The pots are made by the brothers in their tiny studio in South London using a unique mix of cement, sand and recycled by-products from iron making.

Forget Me Not and Green

Forget Me Not and Green is a small independent sustainable gift and greeting card store opening in Herne Hill, summer 2023. Its aim is to support and promote small independent UK and Fair Trade brands, who share our passion for sustainability, handmade and small batch. Thoughtfully curated range of originally designed stationery and cards, hand poured candles, kids craft and jewellery to name a few. Owned and run by Sam a local mum who has lived in the area for more than 15 years. Sam has had a passion for retail from an early age and is excited to be bringing her independent business to Herne Hill.

Residents’ portal coming soon

A reminder for all residents within the Dulwich Estate. In September we will be launching a new online portal available at dulwichestate.org.uk. This will make understanding Estate maintenance work schedules and notifying the Estate or any maintenance issues, much easier and quicker.
The portal will include:

  • Notification of major and routine building works
  • Online payment facilities
  • Gardening plans for individual estates
  • Budget management schedules
  • Site plans and regular updates

Reuniting Dulwich and Sydenham Wood
A series of local public consultation events will take place in June and July
Upcoming consultation events at Crescent Wood Road opposite the Dulwich Wood House pub. All bookings include a project guided tour of the woods and can be reserved via Eventbrite

Drop-in Q&A sessions at Dulwich Library
