Dulwich through the ages

Filming has started as part of a 400th anniversary exhibition to be show at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in June 2019. It will tell the story of the transformation of Dulwich over the ages.

A tea and chat afternoon was held for residents of the Dulwich Almshouse and sixth form students from Alleyn’s school. The girls interviewed the almshouse residents covering themes including growing up, local shops, housing, parks and open spaces and the devastation of WW2.  Residents and students shared their experiences and memories of living in Dulwich with film-maker Simon Purins.
