Hunts Slip Road and Section of College Road Vehicle Access Closure Notice
23 July 2024The Dulwich Estate has instructed a vehicle road closure of parts of College Road and Hunts Slip Road for approximately 16 weeks starting from the week of 29 July 2024 to the week commencing 2 November 2024. This is to carry out an essential Cycle Safety Scheme. Details of the Scheme can be viewed here.
The planned works are as follows and any updates will be available on the Estate website.
From Monday 29 July 2024 to 1 September 2024 the roundabout junction at College Road and Hunts Slip Roads, will close to vehicles.
This means entering College Road from the A205, will only give access to Pond Cottages and Dulwich College Gates up to Hunts Slip Road Roundabout and not beyond. Approaching northbound down College Road, access will only be available up to Grange Lane. The Tollgate will remain open during this period with no charge for access. Double yellow lines at the north section of College Road between the roundabout at Hunts Slip Road and the A205 will be suspended to allow parking during the same period.
From Alleyn Park, there will be no access on Hunts Slip Road beyond Dulwich Junior School entrance.
From 1 September - 2 November 2024 – Hunts Slip Road will be entirely closed to vehicles
Pedestrian and cyclist access will be fully maintained during both road closure phases.
