Love West Dulwich Christmas Fair - Saturday 25 November
23 November 2023Love West Dulwich is a small group of local businesses and residents which promotes the area and its local shop.
Katie Spence, who owns Wigwam, and her sister Lisa Nugent are the driving force behind it. As well as having food and drink stalls in the carpark on Croxted Road, there will be a Best Dressed Dog show at 12 noon, sponsored by Hound & Co.
Local celebrity Miss Christmas leads The Jingle Bells Show near Wigwam in Rosendale Road at 2pm, and then the lighting of the Christmas Tree on the corner of Park Hall Road and Croxted Road at 3.30.
In Dulwich Books there will be a Storytime at 11am with local author Marcela Ferreira reading from her new book The Treasure: A Story about Finding Joy in Unexpected Places. Drinks and sweet treats will be served to customers from around 12. As Dulwich Books is marking 40 years in the area, the first 40 customers will be served a special treat in celebration.
