Pupils awarded for community contributions

Seven students from the Estate beneficiary schools, have been recognised for their creativity, enterprise and philanthropy.

At the second annual Edward Alleyn Awards, pupils from seven schools were recognised for their outstanding contribution to school and community life. Those receiving an award were Orna Millar, Wafi Ali, Maryam Goni, Skye Richarz, Hank Ze, Aymen Ahmed and Alex Narwano. The Edward Alleyn Award was established by Chair of The Dulwich Estate and former Headteacher Dr Irene Bishop.

She said: “It is always inspiring to see young students making a difference in the world. This year’s winners can be proud. Among them are a diversity ambassador, an events organiser and charity fundraiser and a cookbook author. We hope they continue to make a difference in the world and inspire and support others along the way.”
