At The Dulwich Estate we are a small team dedicated to looking after the area in which we live and work. We work with a variety of organisations to protect the natural environment and its biodiversity, now and for the future.

We do this in many ways. Scheme of Management planning rules prevent overdevelopment and requires homeowners look after the natural environment; we look after trees and ancient woodlands and have new tree-planting programmes; we adopt environmentally friendly practice across the Estate; and we work with expert partners to share best practice.

In 2023 The Estate undertook a new commitment to increase its work further in this area, to reduce emissions and energy usage across all Estate areas.
