Yes. The mix of mature trees around The Dulwich Estate area are an important part of the area’s character. To ensure they are protected, all tree work requires prior consent under the Scheme of Management. Please contact our tree consultant for further information and advice.

Yes, but under the terms of the lease, for any structural alterations or change to the external appearance of the property, you must obtain the consent of The Dulwich Estate. You are of course welcome to redecorate or make non-structural alterations, such as replacement of old kitchen units, without seeking consent from The Dulwich Estate.

No, but you are advised to let your property through a reputable agent. If you do rent your property out, you must:

• provide us with up-to-date contact details, so we can contact you regarding any works that may be needed to your property
• include a copy of the property lease in the tenancy agreement for tenants to note the covenants contained in the lease e.g. noise nuisance.
• provide us with the details of your agent in case we need to gain emergency access to the property.
